Brett Weisberg
Brett is a education equity advocate committed to closing opportunity gaps and expanding access to high-quality academic support for people from all backgrounds. Brett holds degrees from Harvard University, the University of California, Irvine, and the UC College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings).Brett works with communities, students and families to address systemic inequities. His work is focused on ensuring that students - regardless of socioeconomic background, or circumstance - have equitable access to the tools and guidance needed to succeed. Through BFF, he advances programs designed to break down barriers to opportunity and support long-term success.Emily is a UC Berkeley and USC Gould School of Law graduate, corporate attorney, nonprofit founder, investor, and former Division I and professional tennis player. She has represented Fortune 500 clients and brings a unique combination of legal training, business experience, and high-performance athletic discipline to her work.
Her work at BFF centers on addressing the disparities that often exist based on socioeconomic background, and access to resources. Emily ensures that families, students, and communities who have historically been underserved are not left behind and given resources and opportunity to thrive.
As a COO of BFF, Nina is committed breaking down the barriers that prevent individuals from accessing opportunity. A USC graduate and former professional tennis player, she brings a disciplined, high-performance mindset to her work focused on expanding access and leveling the playing field in education.
Her work centers on addressing the structural barriers that limit access to support. She is focused on closing opportunity gaps created by differences in socioeconomic background, geography, and access to guidance and institutional support.
